Notre Dame de Paris
I walked through the doors of the Cathedral just as evening mass was beginning. There was a hushed reverence in the air as the Catholic rituals began. The beauty of this holy ground was overwhelming. Faith in all its glory. I sat through most of the mass and then began my pilgrimage through Notre Dame de Paris. I have wanted to visit the Cathedral since I was a young girl. These moments are something I will always remember and cherish. I have no words that would do justice to the heartprint I received in this hour - only a prayer of faith.
It has been a tradition of mine to light candles of prayer for friends and family in every church I visit throughout the world. I have been doing this for over twenty years. Below is the message and photo that I texted to a dear friend as I left Notre Dame:
Our tradition continues, a candle shines bright tonight to honor your mom's love and prayers for the
rest of the Murray Driscoll clan.
